The Champions Burger 2024 final in Madrid

The Leganés Exhibition Centre will become the epicentre of the country’s gastronomy by hosting the Grand Final of ‘The Champions Burger’. This exciting event will take place from 31 October to 24 November, where locals and visitors from all over Spain will have the opportunity to vote for the ‘Best Burger in Spain’. Twenty-four burgers that have stood out in previous competitions will compete, including the popular ‘Hype ’ in Leganés.
Since its inception in February, ‘The Champions Burger ’ has attracted more than two million people, establishing itself as the biggest gastronomic event in the country. The qualifying competitions have taken place in several cities, such as Murcia, Cordoba, Alicante, Zaragoza and Madrid, highlighting its wide impact.
This initiative has been supported by Leganés Town Council, incorporating ‘The Champions Burger ’ festival into the leisure and gastronomic offer of the municipality.
New hamburger restaurants join the competition
Among the 24 finalist burgers, there are nine guest restaurants not participating in the competition, most notably ‘Mano a Mano’. Other notable venues include ‘La Muralla “ and ”Jenkin’s’, who have been recognised as the best burgers in previous years, as well as ‘Moflete’, from well-known youtuber Joe Burger.
A total of 33 burger bars will be present at the event, offering unique creations from their food trucks. During the 25 days of the festival, chefs from various burger bars will be mixing flavours and making innovative sauces, allowing attendees to sample a variety of gourmet burgers, from the classic to the most creative and avant-garde.
Voting system via QR on tickets
The voting system will be very simple: visitors will be able to taste the burgers and, by means of a QR code on their ticket, issue their rating. The burger restaurant that receives the best score will be proclaimed the winner of ‘The Champions Burger 2024’.
In addition to the burgers, attendees will be able to enjoy food trucks such as Cheeck’s, which will offer fried chicken, and Ybarra Truck, with delicious fries. For those with a sweet tooth, there will be proposals from Ioan and Las Torres de Ciriaco.
Social commitment of ‘The Champions Burger’.
It is important to note that part of the proceeds will go to social initiatives, with the aim of supporting vulnerable groups. This year, ‘The Champions Burger ’ is also collaborating with ACANPAN (Pancreatic Cancer Association) to contribute to research projects and provide assistance to patients and their families.
