Last Friday, the General Coordinator of Economy, Commerce and Consumer Affairs of Madrid City Council, Óscar Romera Jiménez, opened the USA-Spain CISO Summit, a key event in the field of cybersecurity. Organised by the Instituto Nacional de Ciberseguridad (INCIBE) in collaboration with CISOs Connect™, Almainnova Group and Women4Cyber Foundation, the event brought together leading international experts.
Romera highlights the commitment of the Ayuntamiento de Madrid to support the development of the sector through the CyberMadrid Cluster. This cluster, created in 2020, aims to foster collaboration between companies, institutions and universities, and to position Madrid as a benchmark in cybersecurity both nationally and internationally.
The summit provides a platform for the exchange of knowledge and the presentation of new strategies in order to strengthen the cybersecurity ecosystem in the city. With activities focused on training and the development of innovation projects, the event promises to boost the growth of this critical industry.
