Madrid turns its support to Valencia

Madrid has thrown itself into Valencia in the wake of the tragedy caused by the latest DANA, which has left more than 200 dead and unprecedented devastation. The Madrid City Council has sent thousands of personnel, including clean-up workers, firefighters, police and health workers, to support the rescue and clean-up work. In addition, it has set up 44 collection points for food and essential goods, collecting enough material to fill 240 trucks in just one day.
Madrid’s response reflects the strength of solidarity in the face of the catastrophe, uniting thousands of citizens in a common effort to help those affected.
